Ok. so this is getting a bit ridiculous... It is going on ten months since I have even looked at this blog.... anyway.. short and sweet..you will get the idea......and this is only part 1...first floor

ALMOST THERE! Downstairs half bath... starting to come together.





And the kitchen is almost fully functional...a back wall...some flooring and some finish work and we can have some dinner....

May has been an interesting month... some things good, some things bad.. lets just


say.. do not hire the same drywall contractor we did...things may disappear!




On another note.. Mason was born on May 6 and he is AWESOME....




It has now grown increasingly difficult to do any work at all at the house but we are managing to make the necessary sacrifices in order to go home.. The kitchen is coming along..the tall cabinets

are in and the others are almost there!

Look how clean, and beautiful the downstairs is! Ready for drywall to start tomorrow! Thank you Adam for all of your help!!! You are amazing and are a wonderful brother! Definitely couldn't ask for someone better! You have been an integral part of creating this home and soon, you will be able to come and stay...and see your nephew too!Thank you...thank you....thank you.... for your three hour journeys back and forth!
















Jared is ready to let someone else do the work for a change!

There is still work left upstairs, to prepare for the drywall guys... but once that is done, then jared will be doing the remainder of the drywall (the bedrooms) at his leisure... or at least until Mason arrives....And that means.... at laaaaaaaasssssssssssssstttt! we will be moving in a couple of weeks......
