OK...so the drywall is going to start soooooooooooooooon......Jared has had alot of help over the last couple of weeks. Chris and Jose helped with the second to last beam, which is upstairs...only one more! They also helped clean up (along with Lyn) for a weekend.. This made us realize that yet another dumpster will be needed soon.
Here is a better shot of the first floor looking towards the back of the house.
All of the old walls are gone and you can see the kitchen to the right , including the soffit above the "bar/island" that will be in the center there.
Adam was here this weekend and helped to finish the framing so the electricians could also finish the kitchen. Jose helped patch all the holes in the floors and also cut the last of the steel for the structure.
And another close up.. of the kitchen, with the last of the framing... well almost..
just a little above the fridge and some for the
wet wall but thats it on the first floor.
And lastly...I had to put this one in... Jared is tired... and worn down...soon he will be able to rest... he needs some... especially before Mr. MMO arrives...
no smiles=one long weekend of non-stop work....
and two animals who will take all of him that they
can get!
