Well.. its the middle of February and things are moving along.. some updates...

WALL FAUCET- for vessel sinks

THE BEAMS-these two are at the entrance, the one on the right is above the stairs. All of these will be exposed in the finished room.

see?

The last bit is somewhat frivolous but here is the K-man next to our new dining chair... looking like a lost puppy who wants to go back to his hood so that he can take his daily walk to Kleinhans!

The vessel sinks have arrived, and many other fun things are flying around via US ground transport, just thought I would share.. There will be one of these in the downstairs half bath and two in the master bath upstairs so Jared can finally see once and for all how dirty his sink will be compared to mine... just kidding... The sink is long and skinny so that it will fit in with the whole 'bar' concept which made both bathroom counters only about 15-20" deep. Its difficult to find a sink this size! This one is 12.75" but 16" long.
Next time you see this, they will be installed! On another note, the structure is slowly coming along. Jared is battered and bruised and has been working 14 hour days between the house and his job... I don't get to see him much these days... I have to put on the mask in order to spend some QT with him. But it is all for a great cause....going home!

The 26 footer is next, so if you are interested in a 'barn raising' thing then let us know.. I think it will take a couple(ha ha) of people to raise it when its ready! Most likely that event will be taking place next week. I will post some more pictures of the beams already in place soon....
